The Twisted Rotini - FBLA Publication Design

I was tasked back in 2016 to compete in a design competition for Future Business Leaders of America by my Business Tech Association teacher. The competition was based around a publication design career, and I had to create a branding identity for a gluten-free restaurant.

I came up with "The Twisted Rotini", a play-on-words for an Italian restaurant with an interesting "twist"!
This is the finished, original logo that I created for this fictitious company. The stroke behind the text was all hand-drawn with a graphics tablet, due to being so unfamiliar with the Adobe creative cloud at the time.
Second, I have the poster I made as a "grand opening" poster for the brand. I even went and translated the words "Grand Opening" to Italian, and it reads, "Grande Apertura". Some more interesting facts about this poster is the included website link.
I made a brochure / pamphlet for those that wanted a physical handout. This is the outside cover of that brochure. It includes information about the restaurant on the front cover (right side), as well as reviews from "past customers" and a mailing area on the brochure itself (yes, it does fit the size of an envelope)!
Moving onto the the interior of the brochure, you can see on the left, I have added a little bit of a "brand story"; the middle of the brochure shows a little bit of information on how to get catering services, and the far right side shows some of the most popular dishes from the menu.
Third, I have the full-length magazine insert / coupon page. It cannot be seen on the digital copy, but on physical copies, I have serrated edges on the magazine inserts. The coupons read, "Free Desert with Purchase of 2 Adult Entrees (Expires July 2016)".
Fourth, I have another magazine insert that I created as well. It is similar to the magazine insert, but this is just a half-page, rather than a full page.
Next up, I have a newspaper ad. This coupon inserts into the newspaper spine itself, rather than having serrated edges like the magazine coupons.
Finally, I have the website that I created for this brand. The interesting fact about this website is that this particular piece was not even assigned to do. I just decided to add this as a potential real website someday, so I went ahead and created a fully designed and working website for this restaurant. The link is down below:
